About VSKO:
Vzw nascholing in het katholiek onderwijs is a social profit association, being the independent INSET Unit of VZW NASCHOLING, a key player in education in Flanders, which acts as an umbrella organisation for some 3000 schools, 100 000 teachers and 1 000 000 learners. Vzw Nascholing has a staff of 86. They are the Flemish market leader in staff development. Every single year they deliver several thousands of training activities and coaching interventions. This association has a great deal of experience in Comenius projects. It has both the expertise and the network necessary to provide a qualitative contribution to this project. Its contributions may involve curriculum development, quality assurance, vision building, implementation strategies, building partnerships with other support organisations, reflective practice etc.
ROLE IN THE PROJECT
The organization will contribute with professional knowledge in the continuous professional development for primary heads. The expertise provided will consist of definition of various learning paths, methods and approaches used in Belgium in the region of Flanders and the possibility of transnational transfer. Organization will also create number of materials to be used for creation of CPD modules. It is also expected to try out the results achieved and give feedback on the pilot implementation of result.
